What it is
Areca palms shed their old leaf sheaths naturally to make room for new growth, and for centuries those sheaths have been used as plates. Bollant collects the fallen sheaths and heat-presses them into plates, with no added chemicals and without cutting or harming a tree. Each plate keeps the grain of the leaf, so no two look exactly alike.
