What it is
Foil-laminated and poly-coated papers combine paper with foil or a polymer layer, in different paper and foil combinations. They are used for printing, packaging and display, for pharmaceutical packs, food pouches and pouches for powders and oral rehydration salts, and for toiletry and cosmetic packaging where the coating helps protect the contents and keep a fragrance in.
